Ugh! this is a F*cking joke. It's an atrocity to even have Robert Pattinson on that list with all those great actors. And is even worst that he's winning. I don't even know why have this polls, RP always ends up winning, and the sad thing is that he ends up winning for his popularity and not his talent.

completely agree with anony, its ridiculous to pit him up against these actors, he's not even in the same league and the only reason he is winning that poll is because of all the 12 year old girls voting.

I like Rob and can't wait for Water for Elephants. But, he is nowhere near this list for this year. You shud have put Jesse Eisenberg. I think he is more deserving in top 10. But, Leo Dicaprio shud have been the one that got recognition this year. 2010 is his year. and James Franco comes second.

A lot of good actors to choose from, but Christian Bale has been giving award worthy performances since he was child actor ie: Empire of the Sun!
Not to mention Amercian Psycho, The Machinist, Harsh Times, Rescue Dawn, The Prestige, 3:10 to Yuma, I'm Not There. His portrayal of Jesus was remarkable also, considering he was only 25 when he made Mary, Mother of Jesus! This year he blows everyone away in THE FIGHTER!!!

I find it hilarious that people get so worked up..over a poll. And I find it petty that people feel the need to hate over Robert all the time! I thought he was great in both Eclipse and Remember Me..and I'm definitely not a 12 year old. Most of his fans are older..by the way! Just letting these small minded people know..

I'm not small minded and I don't see Robert's potential, especially when paired up to unbelievably great actors such as Leonardo or Christian or Ben. The poll is a joke considering that Academy Award Nominees and/or Winners are losing to a guy who claimed to fame on a role that isn't even that great and the movie is a sad excuse.

Let's get this clear! Robert's a good actor and all but he's been in like 6 films! some havent been very good or very dramatic! no way he should be put up against these people, maybe in a few more years when he has done more.. but come on, he cant compare to Leo! have you guys not seen shutter island or inception! its got drama written all 0ver it! vote leo

These polls are just for fun, so people, don't take them too serious. Everybody knows that actors as Leo, Colin... have more experience as they are much older than some others on the list. Also: their age give them more opportunities to different roles, young actors can only choose the roles that match their age. But I voted for Rob because he has the drama in his face. No actor on this list can broode as he does. He says it all with one look, he doesn't need a lot of facial expressions to show his feelings . So yes, he might be not the best dramatic actor on this list yet, but he's gonna be the one in the near future and my vote is an encouraging onefor him to go on in his career.

Oh, and to complete my comment above (15), Rob has nothing to do with winning the votes, his fans do. unlike other actors he even doesn't have twitter to ask his fans to support him, because he just doesn't give a s*t about all these polls and that's why he's so beloved. And, young as he still is, his fanbase counts more mature women than 12-year old girls.

I voted for Rob because he was great in Remember Me, which is a big and really sad family drama... I don't care about Twilight and it's annoying that you keep insulting this guy because you think he only has the movies of that saga... Yeah, he is very young and hasn't made as many movies as Leo, Colin, or Christian Bale, but he has done a few dramas a he was really good at them, so I'm gonna support this young actor and if you want to blame someone, blame to us, not Robert.

Would you *please* stop putting Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart up in every single acting poll! Their performances have never yet merited an inclusion with the others you pick! The reverse in some cases! And for that matter Daniel Radcliffe too. He wasn't even the best male actor among the main trio in Deathly Hallows! Rupert Grint outshone him easily. All credibility on these polls goes right out the window when you continuously throw in people just to get voters from their specific fandoms.

Rob is just great in Remember Me and I am not a teeny bopper I am teen daughters in fact . Many Rob fans are grown up women.

i used to like rob but some of his fan are so nasty towards kristen so,i starting to dislike him now.

Se nota que sos fan de twilight, y esta perfecto. Pero a nadie le interesa el resto de las peliculas que hizo este tipo, se lo esta "premiando" por su desempeño en ESA pelicula. Mira, yo soy fan de Harry Potter, pero no se me ocurriria pensar (aunque creo que el desempeño de Daniel en esta pelicula es mucho mejor que en cualquier otra y se nota el progreso que tuvo, y estoy completamente enamorada de la saga) en comparar a Daniel Radcliffe con POR EJEMPLO COLIN FIRTH en CUALQUIERA de las peliculas que hizo ( en este caso the king's speech). Porque si bien hay actores buenisimos para votar, creo que les pasa el trapo a todos en esto.

If you get that riled up over an online poll then maybe you should think about the important things in your life. The poll is for fun and as this poll has shown, not all Pattinson's fans are tweens and teens, in fact, a lot happen to be grown women. No se por que tanto odio tienen por Robert Pattinson, yo soy mayor de 30 y me gusta como actua, he visto varias pelicuas aparte DE la saga Crepusculo y lo encuentro excelente su interpretacion de sus personajes , the haunted airmain, the bad mother handbook , sin limites, how to be, quizas la saga Crepusculo, en su papel DE Edward es para adolescent pero las he visto y leido Los 4 libros y me Gusta su interpretacion, asi Que primero informense y despues critiquien. Me alegro Que ganara Se lo merece. Ahora esperar agua para elefante y Bel Ami Que se que trabajo excelente ahi.

Leo was popular back when Titanic cam out. He had his turn at being a Teen idol and he's getting older. Now it's time for someone new. I think Robert has done a good job at playing the role as Edward. If anyone has read any of the Twilight books I think Rob shows how hard it is for Edward to be with Bella. If some of you would take the time and just see how good of an actor he is, it might just change your mind. And by the way, I'm not some little teenager either. I'm a married, middle class hard worker.
